Redgate Real Estate Advisors and Capital Partners is a multi-faceted real estate advisory, development, project management and investment firm. Garland Building Company’s expertise in high-end finishes, LEED construction and attention to detail was utilized during every phase of this project, from inception of the design through completion of the project.
As Redgate outgrew their existing office space they looked to create an office environment that would more closely align with their forward thinking staff and ideals. Dyer Brown was hired as the design partner for the project and created a space that is functional for day-to-day office staff, while at the same time is an impressive location to host client meetings and events. Set in an office building that typically has building-standard office designs, the space was designed to showcase all that could be done by ‘thinking outside of the box’. Incorporating the company’s founding members’ roots in the City of Boston, reclaimed salvaged wood timbers from the Boston Harbor were utilized in the reception area as a feature wall and a part of the custom reception desk. The space also features large open ceiling areas, exposed concrete floors, custom lighting and many other special details.
The project was completed in April 2014 and was awarded the LEED Gold rating from the U.S. Green Building Council.
